This application form is specifically for those that are seeking an apprenticeship but do not have the required employment.
Please complete all sections fully in order for us to process your application. Details about your prior learning and work history are especially important. Gaps in information can slow the sign up process.
Information provided on this application form is stored and processed in accordance with the provisions of Data Protection
Act 1998 and GDPR Regulations. Completion of the form signifies the applicant’s or applicant’s parent/guardian’s consent to personal data,
including medical and ethnicity data being used in connection with the application. We will share information with prospective employers where you are looking for us to source an apprenticeship employer for you. We exclude equality, diversity and other sensitive information from this.

Where did you hear about us?
Our HWGTA Training Centres
HWGTA have a Training Centre in Worcester and another in Hereford. Both are easily accessible and we run all our Apprenticeships from both sites.

HWGTA is committed to maintaining the privacy of data of apprentices.
For recruitment purposes, where the applicant does not already hold suitable apprenticeship employment, this application form will be sent to employers, along with any subsequent interview notes documented by
HWGTA staff, initial assessment results and paperwork.
If your application is successful and you join the apprenticeship programme, these details will be
held for 6 years from your apprenticeship end date to meet government funding criteria guidelines. If you study on any ESF funded programme then the data destruction date will be 31/12/2030. If your application is unsuccessful, applicant packs
are held for 12 months and then disposed of securely. HWGTA instructs prospective
apprentice employers who have access to applicant details that information can only be used for recruitment purposes, cannot be shared with any third
party and must be disposed of securely within 5 working days where an applicant is unsuccessful.
